At Laser World of Photonics, companies and researchers will discuss "Intelligent Laser-Based Manufacturing in Europe". The connection of laser-based equipment to systems in the production environment as been a driving force over years. As this integration enhanced over years, the next logical step is the introduction of intelligence into manufacturing

Current research projects funded by the European Commission will report about the smartness of their technology and discuss the approach and expectation to "Artificial Intelligence".

The annual event of the I4MS Initiative showed the progress of support through Digital Innovation Hubs (DIH) in fields such as robotics, big data and manufacturing. As part of the initiative, LASHARE demonstrated results and gave a talk about the new platform that is about to launch.

The event took place in Warsaw on 27.11.2018 and 28.11.2018.

At LZH during their innovation days, LASAHRE discussed what SMEs need to profit from the LASHARE Platform that is about to launch. Key offerings such as match making between users and suppliers will be complemented by community events that foster the exchange between platform members. The discussion gave valuable input to the implemenation of the offering.
